Exhibition
Roots in the Community

The art on display traces a journey from a world turned upside down, a closed world. Heather stitched to connect to her daughter on a different continent.

Gradually the city opened up

and a neighbourhood street garden project brought the community together in an inspiring and positive way.

The exhibition examines distance and love,

growth and community,

through recycled and donated materials.

Many of the pieces are available to buy.

Heather undertakes commissions and can make pictures of your house, family, pets.
